Reiki

Reiki is a process of taking universal energy and placing it in the body and the clients body can then choose to move it where it is most needed.  The Usui Method of Reiki that I have been attuned to, and trained in believes the body knows what it needs and where, I am merely a channel for the energy to flow through, I do not direct or impart my beliefs or will on it as it is always accepted and directed or rejected by the higher self.  Universal Energy is infinitely abundant, and doesn't carry a positive or negative charge it is simply energy, chi, prana, life force, whatever name it is call it is used to heal, calm bring presence of mind to the being to whom it is offered.  Each Reiki session is an hour to 1.5 hours long and can be used in conjunction with other modalities although is wonderful in isolation.  Reiki doesn't have any contraindications and it doesn't require the removal of any clothing and is therefore a wonderful option for those who have more severe health conditions that are contraindicated for massage and or who prefer to remain clothed.
